2nd Shift Position

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform a series of complex machine operations, including setup and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. The cell contains Manual Surface Grinders, Mitsubishi Cylindrical Grinder and Kellenberger CNC Grinder. This position will also involve first piece and in-process quality inspections. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required. Advanced education or apprenticeship preferred.
  • 3-5 years of CNC Grinding and Manual Grinding experience required. 
  • Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls are essential.
  • Willingness to move between different machines (e.g. vertical machining centers) as needed. 
  • Ideal candidate will have experience running different grades of material and performing multiple setups per day.
