2nd Shift
A Project Coordinator will have the primary day-to-day responsibilities of coordinating a project and/or project category within the Logistics-Customs Compliance department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safety First – follow all safety guidance and manage all safety issues to ensure adherence to established processes, conduct root cause and preventative actions to report all incidents to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain schedules to accomplish all daily/weekly/monthly tasks for the project. Ensure daily targets are met by working with team associates and other project coordinators when applicable.
- Ensure scheduled workloads for the project are completed on a timely basis following all directives, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- May help conduct meetings with assigned associates on job performance and opportunities for continual improvement for the related projects.
- Recommend and assist in training of assigned associates to achieve job performance goals (i.e. key performance indicators and metrics).
- Use professional development tools (self-study, etc.) to enhance project coordination skills (i.e., leadership, technical, and communication skills).
- Lead by example by following company policies and procedures.
- Work overtime and weekends based on workload as needed/requested.
- Maintain work area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion by following 5S procedures.
- Utilize Krones enterprise resource planning system SAP in conjunction with project tasks.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The individual in this role may also be responsible for the following depending on the specific project they will be providing coordination on:
- Manage issues with parts, shipments, receipts, and reclamations.
- Help monitor shift associates to ensure they are being safe, punctual, executing their assigned job role(s), and are leaving at the conclusion of their assigned shifts.
- Help conduct corrective action training to overcome known errors.
- Daily cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse/logistics required.
- Ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds required.
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
