JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform assembly involving electrical or mechanical operations on highly complex, intricate, and precise assemblies or sub-assemblies for packaging equpiment. Perform operations incidental to assembly which require a high level of skill and expertise. Work from extensive specifications and diagrams. May plan and lay out work. Use tools (hand tools, power tools) and a variety of testing, gauging devices, and equipment. Work to critical tolerances. May assign, instruct, and check work of others. Requires considerable skill, technique, knowledge of design, and mechanical / electrical principles. The duties may include material movement, Kardex loading/unloading, distributing of Kanban items and Laser/Engraving operations.  
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education required, technical school preferred. Requires a working knowledge of precision assembly techniques as well as basic mechanical principals. (Knowledge of electrical principals not required but a plus). Ability to read assembly drawings, use measuring equipment, a working knowledge of metric system required and basic computer skills required. Requires 2-5 years of related job experience. Must be able to work in a team environment to achieve tight deadlines.
