The Asset & Customer Care Manager is responsible for the Line of the Future. This position is 100% on-site at a customer location in Cincinnati, OH. This position will be responsible for the customer agreement and for its success, from operations and a financial perspective while fulfilling the targets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe environment for Krones employees and visitors; communicate and enforce safety and environmental policies; serve as a role model in compliance.
- OEE output according to plan, with the ownership of agreement, think and act like a customer in close co-operation with the customer.
- Daily co-ordination with Embedded Engineers, for effective line management while reporting project status to stakeholders.
Monitor and decide different maintenance strategies, production plannings, spare parts and consumables stock/inventories. - Interpretation of information and KPIs from the Krones. Digital Analytics dashboard, update on the same to customer and reporting internally.
- Project controlling financially, tracking project budget and escalation of uncontrollable deviations.
- Plan, coordinate and report the maintenance activities preventive, breakdown/emergency, overhaul for production line with the support of SAP Asset management tool and other digital products like shopfloor guidance, etc.
- Planned/preventive maintenance activities to be optimized to reduce the line stoppages e.g., planning of maintenance or repair during CIP or changeover timings, planning rolling overhauls for filling valves, etc.
- Organize regular meetings at customer level and internally in Krones.
- Perform any other duties as assigned (shift optimization, with hands on maintenance support when necessary).
- Work closely with Customer to ensure coordination of production, quality, maintenance and overall throughput.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job, along with split shifting presence at the plant together with local resources.
- International travel and domestic travel required for this position.
Who you are:
- Requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience normally gained through 5-10 years of related work history with progressively more responsible and complex assignments.
- The ideal candidate must have 5 years+ of packaging & project management experience.
- Education: Project Management (PMP or similar), Lean, and or Six Sigma methodology preferred.
- Must have strong technical knowledge of bottling & packaging lines, excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to project management skills. Goal orientated, self-starter, team player, excellent computer skills, with a positive outlook.
- Knowledge of MS-Office, MS-Project, Krones. Digital analytics, and SAP are preferred.
