JOB SUMMARY:
The CNC programmer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and editing programs for milling, turning, and multitasking machines (2 – 5 axis). The successful candidate will be hands on, possess knowledge of various HSM and HPM milling techniques, have an in-depth background of tool and speed/feed selection, and be committed to the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and trust. Programmer will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to stay on the edge of new technology and manufacturing strategies.  

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education with training and experience in machine shop practices and techniques.

  • The ability to handle diversified work assignments that may require independent thinking and judgment.

  • Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of metric system and computer (CNC) skills.

  • Qualified applicants need to have some experience with CNC programming of machine tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Opus, GibbsCAM, Esprit, NX, or similar software.
