1st Shift Position
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for someone who can float between Mazak Quick Turns, running both 2- and 3-axis machines, in our Lathe Department. This individual will perform a series of complex machine operations including set-up and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. This will involve reading and editing G&M code along with writing programs in Mazatrol. It will also involve performing first piece and in-process quality inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required. Advanced education or apprenticeship preferred.
- Mazatrol conversational programming knowledge required.
- 3-5 years of CNC Mazak or 3-axis lathe experience required.
- Experience running different grades of material and performing multiple set-ups per day required.
- Willingness to be flexible and run more than one machine is required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls.
