Digital Integration Site Manager

Under the leadership of the Head of Site Management, the Digital integration Site Manager works onsite at customer facilities across the United States to coordinate and guide the deployment of digital tools during the commissioning of production lines.
This role acts as the primary onsite point of coordination, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and smooth execution between customer teams, onsite technicians, and internal software and engineering teams.
The position focuses on project coordination, stakeholder communication, and execution tracking, with a working understanding of digital tools and systems to support effective troubleshooting and alignment.
Extensive travel across U.S. customer sites during commissioning; this is a primarily onsite role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support onsite activities related to digital tools during commissioning.
- Act as the central communication link between customer teams, onsite technicians, and internal software and engineering teams.
- Plan, organize, and track commissioning and onboarding activities to ensure timely execution.
- Guide onsite teams and technicians in the use and deployment of digital tools.
- Facilitate issue resolution by coordinating between onsite teams and remote technical experts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network and software-related issues to support operations.
- Monitor, track, and communicate project status, risks, and action items to stakeholders.
- Coordinate software updates onsite and verify successful implementation with the appropriate teams.
- Ensure clear, timely, and structured communication across all stakeholders.
- Support data validation activities to help ensure reliable system performance.
- Promote a collaborative, solution-oriented environment across customer and internal teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; focus on coordination, operations, or technical support roles is acceptable.
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, onsite support, or operations in industrial or technical environments.
- Strong project coordination skills (task tracking, scheduling, stakeholder communication, issue tracking).
- Basic understanding of networking and software systems; ability to support troubleshooting is beneficial.
- No specific programming language proficiency required, but familiarity with software development concepts is helpful.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in onsite roles involving customer coordination and commissioning activities.
- Exposure to industrial digital tools, production environments, or manufacturing systems.
- Basic understanding of IT/OT environments and plant-floor connectivity concepts.
- Familiarity with software deployment processes or working with remote development teams.
- Some TIA Portal familiarity
Professional / Technical Skills
- Project coordination tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).
- General understanding of digital systems, data flow, and system integration concepts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices appropriate to operational environments.
