Job Description:

  • This position will be responsible for performing timely and accurate service in customer’s plants, such as installation, repair or troubleshooting to packaging equipment.
  • Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for Packaging equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC program for both Siemens and Rockwell systems as position requires extensive programming onsite at customer locations.
  • Packaging line network integration for installation of complete packaging lines.
  • Experience on maintaining and servicing packaging equipment.
  • Be able to work independently on installations, upgrades, and overhauls for packaging equipment.
  • Starting wage $24 - $32/hour depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Solid mechanical/pneumatic knowledge.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and be familiar with the metric system.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • Must be able to perform work assignments that are of a technical, involved nature, requiring the use of judgement and independent thinking.
  • Siemens or Rockwell programing experience required

 

High flexibility and 85-90% travel domestic and international are required
