Position Summary -

The Human Resources Intern will report to the Human Resources Manager and will assist with a variety of duties in the department. This may include recruiting related activities, coordinating events, administrative tasks, and other projects as assigned.

 

Responsibilities -

  • Recruit for agency positions.
  • Assist with employee recruiting by attending career fairs, scheduling interviews, and utilizing job boards.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees by preparing documents for orientations and managing new hire paperwork through HRIS system – SuccessFactors.
  • Coordinate employee activities such as blood drives, employee appreciation events, and food trucks. 
  • Resolve employee concerns through phone, email, mail, and face-to-face.
  • Prepare check requisitions for reimbursement programs and prepare invoices before sending them on for approval.
  • Organize and handle confidential information.
  • Complete and submit salary surveys. 
  • Perform data entry tasks.

  

Qualifications -

• Current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience and skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously • Student Member of SHRM a plus
