As a Sales Manager of Inside Development, you will drive pipeline growth by developing your direct reports' individual performance, optimizing your team's outreach metrics, and executing on strategies that align with sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in sales development, an understanding of the packaging industry, and exceptional leadership skills. This position will motivate their employees and assess performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance.

  • Trains, motivates, and develops employees to meet the current and future needs of the department and the company. 
  • Maintains discipline, resolves problems, determines performance, and recommends promotions, transfers, or terminations.
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company goals and maximum profitability.
  • Manage Company resources through effective and appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, phones, and energy. Maximize cost efficiencies and institute operational measures to adjust utilization of staff and materials to actual workload.
  • Manage all aspects of departmental business flow. Evaluates various processes and procedures to see if there are any instances within those realms that may be streamlined to increase efficiencies and quality of work. Develop policies/procedures for recognized unit.
  • Interact with all levels of Company management and with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, coordination, and completion of projects.
  • Ensures that the team is exceeding timeliness and quality standards for contracts, quotes generated, and orders processed.
  • Customer (internal and external) satisfaction and customer centricity are vital to success
  • Develop standardized systems & simple processes for accelerated quotations and orders.
  • Product management and business development.
  • Leadership of a team of Specialists who create maintenance estimates, offers, quotations and contracts.
  • Foster high employee engagement and high customer satisfaction. Think and act like a customer.
  • Optimization of existing programs, and expansion or enhancement of customer offerings
  • Interact with all levels of Company management and with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, coordination, and completion of projects.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment conducive to internal and external customers.
  • Collaboration and team approach are required and essential for success.
  • Travel as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the field of specialty is preferred.

Experience and/or Training: 3-5 years of experience in area of specialty. Knowledge of manufacturing environment or product line is preferred.

Professional Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and Krones Portfolio.
  • Market knowledge, process and structural knowledge, knowledge of business administration, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.  

Soft Skills:

  • Advanced communications skills, capacity for teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problem-solving competence, leadership skills, attention to detail, change management, time- and self-management, coordination and organizational skills, communication skills, and negotiation skills.
