JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:
The position will require the candidate to generate New Recycling Solutions Revenues for Krones, Inc by maintaining close contact with customers both in-field and via remote means for the entire sales-cycle, from initial inquiry to development of detailed offers, to commercial negotiation and order commitment, through contract finalization. Provide frontline representation for ‘Krones Recycling Solutions’ product portfolio and Krones corporate organization structure and values. Up to 50% travel for customer visits between Monday - Friday. 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop business plan for assigned region including all relevant market segments.
• Develop and meet sales quotas as assigned.
• Be the ‘Face-to-the-Customer’ for all matters relating to Recycling Systems Opportunities.
• Update Krones CRM Database with relevant information for customer contacts, opportunities, and decision dates.
• Issue and present quotation documents to customers.
• Oversee creation and finalization of Equipment Purchase Agreements (EPA’s) for New Machine Projects
• Prioritize/manage requests for quotes, layouts, and technical support to avoid over-tasking of internal resources.
• Keep abreast of Krones Recycling Solutions portfolio updates.
• Provide market intelligence and jointly develop a strategy for the regional market.
• Maintain a network within the recycling industry with recyclers (customers and non-customers), OEM suppliers, and industry organizations.
• Participate in marketing activities ex. exhibitions, conferences, associations, road shows, customer days.
• Assist with collections as required.
• Facilitate resolution of customer issues.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sales/marketing or a technical field of study.
Experience and/or Training: Requires at least 5 years of experience in the recycling industry, specifically plastic collections, basic polymer science, processing (washing, molding) and recycled content packaging requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and/or Training: Dedicated account management experience preferred.

• Market knowledge, knowledge of business administration, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.
