Job Summary:

  • Primary focus support remotely and onsite new installation, during commissioning of machines, with signal exchange, machine integration, conveyor fine tuning, PLC program bugs, PLC upgrades, Visiwin, Zenon, network troubleshooting and settings. etc.
  • Secondary focus when available assist with Krones NA Support Center queue providing technical support to customers and Service Technicians to diagnose equipment. problems and find solutions programming problems
  • Communicate directly with customers and technicians to expedite resolution machine problems.
  • Manage company resources through effective and appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, phones, and energy.
  • Assist on weekend support rotation if available and necessary.
  • Requires up to 50% Travel in USA and abroad to new installation sites to support commissioning
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Experience/Education Requirements:

Required: Associate Degree or Bachelor of applied sciences (EE) preferred or equivalency of minimum four years of industry experience, to include:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a line electrician.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience of PLC Siemens, S7, TIA & AB. 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with signal exchange between systems
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with conveyor technology and line balancing
  • Proficient in troubleshooting on site, through phone or remote service.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
