Job Summary

This role provides direct onsite commissioning support for new installations of the Krones nex-generation Ingeniq and 100k high‑speed line technologies. Following commissioning, the position transitions to providing remote technical support for customers and Krones Service Technicians. The position focuses on highly automated systems, robotics, PLC technologies, conveyor integration, and digital platforms used in Krones’ next‑generation production lines.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite commissioning support for new Krones Ingeniq and 100k line installations, ensuring, electrical, automation, and digital components operate according to specification.
  • Conduct machine signal exchange verification, line integration, conveyor fine‑tuning, robotic system checks, AGV material‑handling support, and VisiWin HMI setup.
  • Debug and modify PLC programs (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Allen‑Bradley) to ensure full line functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and validate the operation of automated and AI‑enhanced systems, ensuring stable production performance before customer handover.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, project management,  KAG site teams and customer teams to achieve full commissioning readiness.

 

Secondary Focus – Post‑Commissioning Remote Support

  • After commissioning, transition to remote support for customers and Krones technicians through the Support Center queue.
  • Assist service teams by diagnosing equipment issues via phone, remote access tools, and digital service platforms.
  • Communicate directly with customers and technicians to expedite issue resolution and provide expert technical guidance.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, recommended fixes, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement.
  • When there are no active service requests related to Ingeniq or 100k line technologies, support the general Electrical Technical Support queue by performing electrical troubleshooting,  helping maintain queue flow and response times.

 

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage company resources responsibly, including tools, laptops, communication devices, and travel equipment.
• Participate in weekend support rotation as needed.
• Travel up to 50% (USA and international) to commissioning sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
