JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Training Academy Supervisor is responsible for team performance, developing, and executing KRONES technical training programs for customers, field service technicians. This role ensures that training content, delivery methods, and staff capabilities meet KRONES standards for safety, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Supervising the execution of customer business and internal service training and coordination
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. People Supervision
- Supervise and support 2 administrative personnel, ensuring efficient scheduling, budgeting, communication, and program coordination.
- Lead 8 technical trainers, providing coaching, skills development, and performance management and customer experience.
- Track trainer utilization weekly, ensuring alignment with organizational targets and staffing models.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and training capability assessments.
- Support onboarding of new service technicians and development of new academy staff.
- Training Quality control to assure customer satisfaction, internal and external
- Launch s4 Hanna for Academy and train the Team on new methods and procedures
- Travel is required in this role with max 20%
- Internal sales, service and customer presentation are standard practices related to Academy product portfolio
2. Training Strategy & Program Execution
- Develop annual and multi‑year training plans for customer and internal service technician development.
- Align training programs with KRONES technologies, new machine launches, service requirements, and customer needs.
- Ensure all training content is accurate, aligned with engineering documentation, and updated regularly.
- Oversee delivery of classroom, hands‑on, online, and blended training formats.
- Monitor customer feedback scores and trainer‑specific evaluations.
- Facilitate calibration meetings with trainers to ensure consistent delivery quality.
3. Operational
- Manage academy scheduling, resource allocation, and instructor assignments.
- Oversee training labs, simulators, machines, tooling, and safety equipment.
- Maintain course documentation, LMS integration aligned with KAG Academy, certification program compliance and tracking systems.
- Review training in performance metrics (e.g., attendance, assessments, customer feedback).
- Oversee compliance with internal processes (billing, scheduling, procurement, timekeeping).
4. Financial Responsibility
- Manage the academy budget, including staffing, equipment, materials, and travel.
- Monitor weekly and monthly revenue performance against forecast, targets, and prior periods.
- Validate billing readiness, time/expense accuracy, and PO alignment before invoices are released.
- Forecast headcount, resource needs, and training demand.
- Ensure efficient utilization of training assets and cost control across all programs.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Field Service and Customer teams to align training initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison to customers regarding training offerings and schedules in alignment with Sales team.
- Represent the academy in internal/external audits, customer meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
- Work closely with KRONES AG for Global alignment and Subsidiaries on process and planning of RFS requirements and customer
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver weekly dashboards that summarize:
- Revenue and deferred revenue
- Trainer utilization percentages
- Open dispatches and pending engagements
- Customer feedback insights
- Profitability indicators (EBT, direct cost trends)
- Maintain and improve performance tracking tools, KPIs, and forecasting models.
- Present monthly operational reviews to leadership with actions and recommendations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in related discipline and/or industry knowledge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred in related field
