JOB SUMMARY: Work with the supplier development team to develop, audit, and train contractors to maintain piping installation quality along with supervision of piping installation contractors on-site. This is a remote position that requires up to 80% travel (domestic and international).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategically develop and execute measures of the international supplier development strategy for piping installation

Develop the North American region on the implementation of the Krones quality standard for piping installations

Train and audit Krones, Inc. Service employees / Krones piping contractors and create development plans to improve contractor output

Participate in the selection and onboarding of piping contractors in conjunction with purchasing/project management teams

Develop and execute the quality guidelines in the field of electrical installation for the North American region in parallel with the Head of Supplier Development - North America

Plan and implement system and product audits for North American piping contractors

Work in parallel with Head of Supplier Development - North America to develop KPIs and data structures, proactive analysis, and predictive quality recommendations

Manage piping contractors and project teams on-site as well as conduct meetings with contractors

Perform initial review of documentation for new suppliers and upload of approved files to SharePoint / GIN

Oversee installation tenders, order clarification, etc. for piping orders in partnership with project management and Krones AG piping group

Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in welding or mechatronics. Equivalent field experience is acceptable in lieu of one of these degrees.

At least 2 years of experience leading and organizing construction sites

At least 3 years of welding experience and AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or equivalent certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field

Supplier development experience

IWE (International Welding Engineer) or AWS CWENG (Certified Welding Engineer)

TUV SUD Auditor training
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office, ability to diagnose and resolve contractor quality and documentation issues, ability to manage contractors, ability to inspect finished products of contractor welders
SOFT SKILLS: Startup mentality, effective communication, team first attitude, self-motivation, ability to multitask
