Sustainability Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sustainability Intern will gain practical application of sustainable practices in a real manufacturing environment and will assist with a variety of duties in the Sustainability department. This includes (but is not limited to) water consumption reduction, hazardous waste management, energy efficiency, data collection and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Environmental and Sustainability Analyst and cross functional teams to improve sustainability culture in the workplace
- Meet/exceed regulatory and corporate policy requirements
- Complete compliance-based projects
- Participate and lead Sustainability focused activities
- Create presentations, compile data, perform regular audits
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related degree area
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office and Outlook Experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
