JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Provide training on various high speed packaging equipment for customers; solicit customers to prepare and schedule training programs; provide training programs in-house which will include classroom and hands-on work utilizing simulators and in-house training equipment; provide in-field training at customer sites, which ill include specialized classroom training, as well as hands-on work on customers’ equipment; ensure and maintain machine operations by providing in-field monitoring of specialized high speed packaging machinery at customer sites, including suggesting possible improvements for specific complex machinery, assistance with respect to operator performance or performing actual adjustments on-site; perform machine audits while at customer facilities to check machines for repair or adjustment needs to improve line efficiency and reduce machine downtime; assist in the development of training support materials for specialized high speed packaging machinery; and, assist in the development and writing of Standard Operating Procedure manuals for customers, which include the precise techniques used in operation, changeover, and troubleshooting for the specialized high speed packaging equipment.  This position is based in Franklin, Wisconsin.

 

Required:  Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering and 4 years of experience as a Service Engineer/Technician.  In lieu of an Associate’s Degree, employer will also accept a high school diploma and 6 years of experience as a Service Engineer/Technician.  In addition, the following specific skills are required
